What a wonderful and successful day yesterday was! I don't think there could have been a thing done to make it better. Your memory lives on in all of us!
Hoping for a good day...

Loss...
July 30, 2008
"There is no suffering greater than that which drives people to suicide; suicide defines the moment in which mental pain exceeds the human capacity to bear it. It represents the abandonment of hope." John T. Maltsberger, M.D.
Although I no longer have the option to see and speak to Matt I am glad that his pain is over. It must have been hard for him to endure being in such agony just as it is hard for us all who visit this website to endure the loss of such a wonderful man.

May none of us forget the sacrifice this brave man made ....
My husband, myself and my daughter can enjoy the freedoms we have because Matt he believed in serving his country to make a difference.
What an honor it is to know that he made a difference in all our lives and in our town. Thank you.
Moina Michael replied with her own poem:
We cherish too, the Poppy red That grows on fields where valor led, It seems to signal to the skies That blood of heroes never dies.
May god bless your beautiful daughter and bless your family.

Always With Us
May 2, 2008
I cry when I think about how sad you were yet I smile when I think about how many people's lives you have touched. Not many have the ability to make such a lasting impression on so many different people. I wish there was something we could have done to ease your pain. Even though you are no longer with us here on Earth, you will forever be in our hearts. Rest Peacefully - until we see you again.

No person is ever truly alone. Those who live no more, Whom we loved, Echo still within our thoughts, Our words, our hearts. And what they did, And who they were, Becomes a part of all that we are, Forever.

Remember
April 11, 2008
Always remember to forget the things that made you sad, But never forget to remember the things that made you glad.
Always remember to forget the friends that proved untrue, But don't forget to remember those that have stuck by you.
Always remember to forget the troubles that passed away, But never forget to remember the blessings that come each day.
Matt, you will always be in our hearts. Rest in peace

FROM "THE PROPHET" Kahlil Gibran
ON DEATH "For life and death are one, even as the river and the sea are one. What is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and melt into the sun? And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand, and seek God unencumbered? Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing. And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance."
ON JOY AND SORROW "Joy and sorrow, they are inseparable. Together they come, and when one sits alone with you at your board, remember that the other is asleep upon your bed. When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which had been your delight."
peace, matt. RIP
